AUSSIE GRIT ON TOP GEAR!
This is a TV alert for all UK Aussie Grit fans – make sure you tune in this Sunday, August 4 to watch Mark on Top Gear!
Mark first appeared on the popular motoring show in 2005 as a BMW Williams F1 driver, when he drove their ‘reasonably priced car’ in very wet conditions to post a time that sees him currently lying 12th on the F1 driver leader board. Fast forward eight years and Mark visits the Dunsfold-based studio for a second time…will it be wet or dry? Will he beat his time of 1min 47.1? And most importantly, will he give as good as he gets from presenter Jeremy Clarkson!
Top Gear airs in the UK on BBC2 and BBC2HD at 8pm on Sundays.

on August 5, 2013 ReplyDefinitely gave Clarkson as good as he got. Shame he didn’t beat Hamilton but delighted he beat Vettel. Still gutted, a massive loss to F1 next year.

on August 6, 2013 ReplyThat was a hilarious interview! Maybe if Mark was paying attention the whole way through the lap he’d have beaten Hamilton(Although I think a lot of favouritism was involved in his time…) I loved the “My Dad taught me never to hit boys” and when asked if he’d miss finger-boy he responded “………no.” lol, fantastic stuff, funny interview and what a way to handle Clarkson! That was pretty much the best interview Top Gearhas ever had and it was paired with a very competitive and funny lap(three fingers through the follow through?!?!)
Great to see you on TG, Mark.I think you should spend more time on the telly, maybe call some F1 races and try it out. We’d for sure get a direct story rather than DC’s beating around the bush for an entire GP -
